How many times have you been to PIB????

Hey everyone.

I hope the Miller Ferry starts running today or tomorrow so I can make my first trip this weekend. I think I went 12 times last year and before that hadn't been in 10 years.

I'm like Taz, I can't remember every single trip I take in the year. I always go for the big weekends (May Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Christmas in July, Labor Day, New Years, and Halloween) but I also go as often as possible when it is not a big weekend. I could be living in a mansion if I didn't spend all my money up there...but I wouldn't be having as much fun either. I would guess I go about 10 or 11 times a year. I've been going for about 5 years and have met some really great friends up there....and I hope to meet some more future friends this year.

I'd make the trip every weekend of the year, if I could.
I'd love to retire at PIB when I get older. That seems like a long way away.

Ferry is running today! I'm going this weekend!

Friends part is so true. Most of my closest friends I met on the Island. Funny when we're out somewhere and people ask how we met - high school, college, work, live in the same town...nope...we met on the Island!

The first Miller of the season is at 1:30 this afternoon. YEA!! I can't wait to get my Jeep back on the island.

Hey Patty, I'm not sure if I'm coming or not. Do you know if there are many people from the island planning on going? I haven't talked to anyone from the Bay in a couple of weeks. Although Davey left me a voice mail last night saying he shaved his head...
Since the boats are running the topic of the day for islanders will be which fast food place to stop at first once you hit the mainland!!

1999- 1
2000- 0
2001- 2
2002- 3
2003- 3
2004- 6
2005- 4
2006- 3

And at least 3 trips this year and as many as 5-6!!
