Dock space for X-Mas in July

Post by meiserly1 » Thu Jul 07, 2005 4:38 pm

Taz sent me over to ask you guys/girls a question. Friend and I will be arriving Friday afternoon, July 22. Will there be dock space available? Or we wasting our time?

You never know with PIB, but just get there as early as possible Friday, a lot of boaters take half days Friday to get there, so make sure 230 is your latest arrival and you'll get a spot.

Good luck with that one! I am sure they will find you a spot, but the pickings will be very slim and you will definitely have to raft out maybe 4-5 deep. I would try and get there Thursday night or very very early Fri morning.

Post by JETMAN » Tue Jul 19, 2005 4:03 pm

I have been getting there by 8:00 A.M. on thurs. the last couple of years.
Last year by noon on thurs. the only thing left was spots on C dock. I would try to get there as early as you can. Good luck.

I have a couple of old friends that called me last night and said they were going over to PIB this afternoon, I can give them a call in the morning and ask them what it looks like if anyone wants.

Thanks Mister Kay....I think it would be useful information! Sounds like weather will be extremely nice...so am expecting the bay to be filled to the rim!
