Pat Dailey no longer playing at the Beer Barrel?

Postby FloridaParty » Mon Nov 06, 2006 6:54 pm

You that live in Ohio and travel to the Bay each weekend in the summer to the Bay are lucky. The Bay is one of the best places I've found over the years. I live here in South Florida, and make it to the Bay once or twice over the summer.

I noticed on the Pat Dailey website that he is not apparently playing at the Beer Barrel this summer, but at the Boathouse. After so many years, wow. I hope he has a big crowd at the Boathouse, I hope you guys support him there. I know a lot of people dont like the Beer Barrel, so the change may be a good thing. Pat Dailey is a legend at the Bay, and I hope he plays a couple more years.

Does anyone know why the change?

I really, really hope this is true, the Boathouse is my favorite bar and I haven't been able to see Pat Daily in a while because I don't like the Reer Barrel.

I am going to check out his website.

While that is very true, can the boat house hold the large crowd?

The only reason I ask is cause I don't remember ever being to the boat house... Any time that I was up there and not working, I was mostly on the boat, Mr Ed's or the Brewery...

Yeah, I have been so out of the loop because of being busy with work but this is terrific news! Now if only Bullette will cut ties with the rear barrell and start making appearances at the boat house the world will be a far better place!!

I am also very pleased to see others calling it the rear barrell too! :D
I miss the old Mr. Ed's. I still hate the Beer Barrel. I'm diggin' Hooligans. And Mills isn't the only hot guy up there now with a bald head!

I have no real reason to go there. I only like the Menus when they play.. Although, they have started playing at a place in Lakewood, so I'm golden!

My guess is the Neise's didn't want him back or Pat wanted more than the 7-9 shift on Saturday nights (or some combination of both). He'll be playing at the Boathouse at his old time slot (9:30-???) with an agreement with the Jet that there will be later trips back specifically for those staying late for his show.

Plus the Beer Barrell sucks.
