Nice... Wish that was my excuse. I just found out that I could've gone on a mini vacation to Florida this week. although, with the way I'm feeling now, I'm glad I'm at home

I was looking at prices for the derby, very expensive. Kindy, how do you get your tickets for it?

Every year!!!!!!!!! for the past 8.

We (about 5 of us) rent an RV and go down on Friday morning for the Oaks Stakes and Stay til Sunday morning. It is the best part of the year, as far as we are concerned.

As far as tickets. We always just by infield tickets at the gate, they are about $40. That's where the real party is.

We park the RV in a local's yard (whom we met down there) for Friday evening and we park it in a downtown parking lot (where ever we end up) on Saturday night.

If you haven't gone, you should go check it out. Our RV is full this year. We've found it to be the best deal, about 100/ person for the weekend.

Louisville is a great town to party that weekend and it's a bonus if you like the ponies!

First trip for me will either be May Day or Memorial day. The sooner the better. If you think about it, Bay season is right around the corner. :D

I was trying to motivate my friend who is getting married to have his bachelor party at the Kentucky Derby. The infield sounds like it's just one huge party. But he's not getting married until October so he wanted to have it in the fall. So I guess I'll just go to the Bay that day and have a Mint Julip there!
