Who's coming?

Postby funboy2121 » Mon May 01, 2006 9:43 am

Well it is May 1st. Thats 46 days till paradise! Anyone coming on June 16th (fathers day weekend)? By the way, does anyone know how long it would take to get to cincy from the bay to see a reds game? I have a couple of friends interested in driving there from the bay to see the Sox :x play the reds on that sunday! Quite honestly I wouldn't want to go anywhere on a sunday after partying at the bay all weekend, but they just might do it. Driving back to Chicago is bad enough!

Well, it has taken us 3 1/2 hrs - 4 hrs depending on how hung over you are! Also depends on how fast you want to drive! Once you get to 75 its cake! Come on down to see the 1st place Reds!

Reds are now a whole game in first, in front of the team they beat 6-1 last night! How about that Bronson Arroyo - pitched the entire 9 innings!

Yeah, he had a great game. Hopefully they can keep it up.

It takes me almost exactly three hours from Dayton, so 3.5-4 hours is a pretty good guess.

Yes I have made the drive about 25x and it is between 3 1/2 and 4 hours. The drive to the Bay is cake, but the drive home is torture!! One time I was sooo tired I had to pull over and take a nap for like an hour at a rest stop LOL!! I believe it was after last 4th of July weekend.

As for the Bay I should be at the Bay that weekend funboy!! We will party!!

I have to admit that the Reds seem to do well the first month or two every year then fall apart, but this team is different in that we have speed on the basepaths, have more clutch hitters, less strikeouts, and most importantly have an ace in Bronson Arroyo and an up and coming pitcher in Aaron Harang!! I am still not betting the ranch, but lets give them a chance!!! GO REDS!!

Yes, I agree Mills. This team is also doing this without Milton & Jr.

I am very happy they are doing well..but, I cant get my hopes up yet.....I do love the trade for Arroyo....they still need at least one more arm if they want to contend..Roger Clemens maybe? I know that will never happen.

Every year it's Houston & St. Louis! Lets face it guys our teams just don't have that winning attitude! If the Cubs have one more injury they might as well build a hospital across the street from the park! I'm a diehard Cubs fan, but I can't take it anymore! Well Mills, if your there that weekend, we definitely have to party!

Sounds like a plan funboy!

And you are right about the Cubs they are snake bitten with injuries!! If the Reds don't win the division I hope it is the Cubs!!
