Bachelor Party Questions

Post by Jace » Tue Jul 05, 2005 12:08 pm

Planning a Bachelor party for the weekend in August

Don't have anything booked yet but looking for suggestions on the best places to try to get a cabin for 8-10 guys, close to the bars and entertainment.

Looking tentatively at the weekend of Aug 12-14.

Thanks for the help.

Try these and then you can always search for more housing through google, also the admin on here owns some places so you can always PM him and ask if he has anything.

Chalet on the Bay (I think that is the name) is pretty sweet. Like Taz, I'd also recommend the Island Club.

Jace--In my opinion, the hotels in PIB are expensive. I would say try to go camping like everyone else said. But here is where to go at NIGHT:

Where you go at night might depend on what kind of bars you like: All of the bars are within walking distance so you really can try all of them (if you don't mind paying covers to get in):

1. If you like dancing music from the radio (d.j. is there), then go to Mr. Ed's.

2. If you like live bands, try the Roundhouse bar.

3. I have been there when Frosty's bar has had live bands and I have been there when they play rock music from the radio.

4. I know many people on this site don't like the Beer Barrel, but it is the longest bar and I think you should check it out at least once to form your own opinion. I have only been there once and the Menus were playing.

5. I have never been to the Boathouse, Fishbowl, or Brewery at night so I am not sure what they are like.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!
