I saw on the MBI website they are airing another segment of "The Snake Lady" on the Discovert Channel show "Dirty Jobs". If you get a chance, look for it on the Discovery Channel...

(and if you happen across "Man vs. Wild" watch that for a bit - Bear is great!)

Has that 'magic' number really been confirmed. I always thought it was 100 posts :D Just kidding.

WCM - let us know if 50 is the magic number of posts.

I will be seriously devestated if I get to 50 and things still need to be reviewed. I might even throw my pen at my computer monitor...

Nope - I've already posted a reply to my own post, but you can't see it (at least at the time of your post - if you're reading this, its probably there by now)

I find this strikingly similar to what happens at PIB though. You're there, although there are periods when one might "disappear" for awhile, even though you may have never actually left...either you just don't know where you are or your friends don't know where you are, but you're somewhere...doing "something"...

WCM,

That is so true about going missing while at the Bay!! My friends usually joke around when we get off the ferry that they will see me Sunday at the ferry since I always go off on my own usually with new friends  I usually end up running into them again at a different bar which is always funny!!

I did last week sometime.

Mills - Yes, I like to call these events "hiatus" as in - Where were you? On hiatus...

The best part is, you always know where to meet up with people should you get lost!

Posting

Postby admin1 » Fri Feb 02, 2007 10:56 am

Just to clarify there is no "magic number" of posts that a person has to have to become unmoderated.

It is based on numerous factors such as longevity on the board, quality of posts etc. There are three owners of the board who are all island business owners and pretty much everyone on this board who is un-moderated knows or had met one of them.

There are three of us who periodically check the board for new posts on a daily basis. We do try to get posts reviewed and approved ASAP Thanks!
