If I'm gonna spend 70 bucks on the islands it certainly isn't going to be on food. Besides I think it was you who introduced me to those 70 dollar Vodka Cran breakfasts to begin with. As I recall one day, about 11 am, I was walking through town on a beautiful summer day and I hear some one calling m...

That area is the Middle Bass ice fishing hole. The ice gets locked in the "circle" of PIB, MB, Rattle and Green so normally people can fish late into the season. A lot of the people on the upper islands have hovercrafts so they can still fish and get around while the ice is in the between ...

The boats are running

The boats started to run! However there is still ice around. Some guys from Middle Bass were bucket fishing yesterday on the ice near Rattle and just a few feet away from them was a boat fishing. That would have made a cool photo.

The ice came in for like a week, but between that warm weather and big wind we had it went soft and broke up. However if this cold weather keeps up there might still be a chance. People really weren't catching much... some perch in the Bay and a random walleye here and there. One of those random wal...

If I see a pursuit or 22 ray I'll swim over. Yes the weather the week before just wasn't good swimming weather...and we found our selves doing the same thing, rottin' on the dock, drinking most days by 11, just because there wasn't much else to do. If you have ever wanted to see NB, this tour is the...

Bill I didn't make it as you can probably guess. I made it to NBI but not to the Bay until Tues. Had to go to the Calender signing at the Boardwalk, since my Dad is now a centerfold and all. What a hoot!! I love them all. Marv's picture was great...one of the better ones for sure. Joe's...Geo's...Sc...

Bill will you be around the rock this weekend? I will be out to the bars after Sat. once the flamingos arrive. If you are in the Round and see a group of old school that is probably where I'll be, so come say hi. Do you ever go out swimming with Dan and/or Tom on the weekends, I run into them from t...

I've seen a lot of different people drink out of that leg over the years  and based on what I have witnessed I would say the best thing that could have happened to you was tossin' your cookies right afterwards...

It is a tangled web we weave out on the islands...I believe it might be a bit too hard to explain, not to mention believe, unless other wise experienced. I laugh my tail off when I think about my own family, relations and almost relations on the island...who wouldn't the way it all looks with out al...

Nope...Dale. If it isn't crazy at Ed's, just ask Jeremy H. or his dad they'll give you the scoop. Known Jeremy since the day he was born. His parents have known me since the day I was born. Infact, the Grave Digger story is about Jeremy's granpa (doesn't let you spell it out correctly, too close to ...

I hope you enjoy the articles.. I'll be around this weekend...if you are on A dock you just might see me, twice a day Sat., Sun., Mon. but probably not at the bars. However come Tues. I'll be out like a rock star. If you see some one walking around or on a boat with a khaki colored cowboy hat, long ...

Mills if you are interested in more island stuff, I have two articles in the June PIB Gazette. They aren't my best stuff I have written for them but still kind of interesting. Things about the islands folks might not think of. One is a North Bass update, and the other is about Grave Diggers. The gra...

Well you should have a great time, the forcast is perfect, mid 70's plus the Flamingos are playing. Wish I would be able to go out to see them, but won't have a sitter till Tues. So I'll just have to make do floating around Honey Point or School House Bay over the weekend... okay not like that reall...
