Bryan there are so many stories when it comes to the islands, you'll enjoy all the "discovery" that comes with living on the rocks. A good book to get is Isolated Splendor, by Robert Dodge. It is out of print but you can still pick it up on line and on ebay. Well the islands are in winter ...

And he planted the first acre of grapes in PIB Twp. on NB in 1856, and he was also the first Justice of the Peace in PIB Twp. The house was in the family until 1961, we...

Treasure hunting on the islands, one of my most favorite past times...picked up a few this summer digging around. So had you heard about the tunnel, saw what looked like one, or just were winging it? Cause there is something said about a tunnel. Things are looking great for the weekend...should be a...

You know Bryan I never made it inside the Cameo...had to sit down. I was willing to eat what ever my dear friend Party Joe was gonna come out with! We were there forever, in fact after they closed up and left we were still sitting on the porch making a mess. I don't recall a black Goat Shirt.....

Bryan it sounds like we had to have crossed paths...I was at all of those places (cept the BB) including Frosty's in the A.M. Not to mention there was no way you could have gotten into Cameo's without tripping over me on the porch! I was the girl in a red Goat sweatshirt with pizza all over he...

There were two guys on board the boat laid up on the dingy beach, they drug anchor out by the monument and knocked a hole in the bottom on some rocks, they took off and beached it before it sank. They were broke and had a heck of a time getting the boat out, none of the towing services wanted anythi...

Bryan it sounds to me like it was a fox snake you saw. They get huge, like 5 feet long or so. But to answer your question Mills, water snakes don't really get very big, maybe a couple of feet for a big one. You know the islands use to be covered in Rattlesnakes, I think the last one found on...
