(2018 Event) PUT-IN-BAY, OHIO (May 1, 2018) - All highways lead to Put-in-Bay and Ohio's Lake Erie Islands this summer thanks to a Grammy-award-winning country music mega-group that also says "Life is a Highway"!

On August 30, Put-in-Bay will host its 2nd annual Bash on the Bay Country Music Festival. This year, it features Ohio's own Rascal Flatts! The performance is a part of Rascal Flatts' "Back to US" tour.

The Festival will take place at the Put-in-Bay Airport 3W2. Gates open at 3:00 PM. Several bands will play before Rascal Flatts takes the stage, including Chris Lane, Joe Nichols, the Cory Farley Band, and more!

Tickets for the festival are still on sale through Etix.com. To accommodate the large volume of visitors, the ferries will run late night boat service to and from Put-in-Bay. After the event, Island Club Taxis will be staged at the north end of the runway to transport concert attendees back downtown and to the ferries. Don't worry about being hungry or thirsty, as numerous food trucks will be onsite with all sorts of food and drink choices.

Overnight lodging is still available and can be found at https://www.putinbay.com/lodging.htm (2018 Event)

Put-in-Bay Trivia: Along the lovely shores of South Bass Island (Put-in-Bay), five luxury hotels were built by 1888. One of the hotels, The Hotel Victory is referred to as a symbol of the peak of the lavish 1890’s. Being the biggest summer resort in the U.S. at the time, the Hotel Victory was operating 27 years prior to being ruined by a fire on August 14, 1919. Today, you can still see the remains of some of the foundation and its swimming pool at the South Bass Island State Park.
