Ohio Bike Week began as the North Coast Thunder Rally & Ohio State H.O.G. Rally in 1999 and 2000. In 2006, North Coast Thunder Rally was rebranded as Ohio Bike Week. Since then, Ohio Bike Week has become a 10-day premier event planned around the dates for the AHDRA Ohio Bike Week Nationals. The Rally on the Rock portion of Bike Week started when bikers discovered the fun and entertainment to be had on South Bass Island at Put-in-Bay. Ohio Bike Week offers many days of great activities, entertainment and rides-Many at NO CHARGE.
Island bikers can enjoy a Hog Roast in DeRivera Park from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM & entertainment from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 29. There are many contests, prizes, and live music. Donations will be accepted for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The fun continues with the island's second Scavenger Hunt of the season, except this one takes place on bikes! Bikers will begin Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center and tour the island on the scavenger hunt which concludes at 5:30 PM at the Blue Marlin Bar & Grill at the PIB Resort. Winners will be announced and prizes handed out.
