FAmily friendly?

Is PiB a family friendly place to go with kids ranging in ages 5-15? We were looking on going on a Sunday or would Friday be a better day to go?

Sunday would be much better. Most of the drunks are heading for the Ferry instead of the bars. There is also an Antique car parade around 2pm thats kinda fun. The last car throws candy for the kids so be ready. Mid week is best. Also before mid June or after August 15. That 2 months in between is pretty much Disney World for Alcoholics.

Sunday thru Thursday is island is mostly families and corporate meetings. I would steer clear of Friday and Saturday. Sunday is a GREAT day to arrive! There is a nice parade each Sunday around 2:30!

Thanks for the info, I've heard it is like spring break in Florida. We wouldn't arrive until around noon so the parade looks like a good deal.

Definitely go during the week and not the weekend unless you are cool with your kids witnessing a ton of drinking and partying. Monday afternoon-Thursday afternoon is usually most family friendly although Sunday is pretty lower key as well.
